About me

Anesh read medicine at University College London. He initially undertook MRCP as part of core medical training before changing specialty and completing radiology training in both the North East and London at the Imperial college training scheme including St Mary’s, Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals.

Anesh is dual fellowship trained in musculoskeletal imaging whilst also practicing general radiology. He spent six months at the prestigious specialist bone tumour centre at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and then undertook eighteen months of sports musculoskeletal imaging training at St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. Here he taught on MSK imaging courses in British Columbia whilst also producing multiple peer reviewed publications and co-authoring book chapters. He has presented both nationally and internationally and reviews articles for international musculoskeletal radiology journals. Considering his interest in sports both personally and professionally he has volunteered as a radiologist at the upcoming 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Currently, he is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the British Society of Skeletal Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.

His current practice as a consultant radiologist is based at West Middlesex University and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals, sub-specialising in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal imaging, with expertise in ultrasound, fluoroscopy, computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

Areas of interest

Diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging. These include, steroid, PRP, microtenotomy/prolotherapy, hydrodilatation as well as image guided aspiration and biopsies.
