Jen is a warm and empathic psychologist, providing a space where her clients feel heard and supported.
Having experienced her own times of emotional distress, she understands it can take courage to reach out for help. She sees the potential in her clients and holds this vision throughout the therapeutic journey.
Jen is a highly qualified Chartered Psychologist, with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, an honours degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) and is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
She is trained to deliver a range of evidence-based therapies and will offer you the therapeutic approach that best suits your needs and goals. She has particular expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, compassionate and acceptance and commitment therapies.
Jen has worked with individuals with a range of psychological difficulties in numerous NHS services across London. Alongside this she has over 13 yearsâ€™ experience supporting clients in private practice.
Jen was named an â€˜Outstanding Educatorâ€™ Finalist in the Quality in Care Awards and served as an Advisory Board Member and Consultant on numerous national strategic health initiatives, including NHS England.
Jen has provided expert comment to the media including HuffPost, The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail, Womenâ€™s Health and Good Housekeeping. She is the author of the 5* Amazon rated book, â€˜Diabetes and Wellbeingâ€™ (Wiley-Blackwell, 2013) and has been extensively published in peer-reviewed journals.
Jen is a passionate educator and has been an invited keynote speaker across the US, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Europe on subjects related to achieving health and wellbeing.
