About me
Mr. Trystan Lewis is a consultant General and Upper GI surgeon with a specialist interest in diseases of the stomach and gallbladder, and all types of abdominal hernia. He provides services for all benign Upper GI conditions, specialising in laparoscopic or keyhole surgery.
Mr. Lewis qualified from Imperial College London, and has worked at the major teaching hospitals in North West London, including St. Marys, The Royal Marsden and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals. He completed a PhD at Imperial College at the world renowned Department of Cancer and Surgery, and has both presented his work internationally and published extensively in scientific journals.
In his current position as a consultant surgeon at Epsom and St. Helier Hospital, Mr. Lewis leads the Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit, where he is passionate about same day surgical care, and focuses on providing a service that reduces the stress of surgery and has a minimal impact on individual patients day to day life.
