About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist based at the Yorkshire Heart Centre in the Leeds General Infirmary, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country. I completed my degree in medicine at the University of Leeds in 2007 and I have undertaken extensive specialist training in the field of Cardiology and Electrophysiology in the West Yorkshire region. I completed my PhD in 2014 at the University of Leeds.

My specialist area of interest and expertise is in the management of arrhythmia, or heart rhythm disturbances. I treat all types of heart rhythm problems including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardias. I specialise in the use of catheter ablation to treat these heart rhythm problems and I also implant pacemakers, complex pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators.
