About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist based at the Yorkshire Heart Centre in the Leeds General Infirmary, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country. I completed my degree in medicine at the University of Leeds in 2007 and I have undertaken extensive specialist training in the field of Cardiology and Electrophysiology in the West Yorkshire region. My specialist area of interest and expertise is in the management of arrhythmia, or heart rhythm disturbances. I treat all types of heart rhythm problems including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardias. I specialise in the use of catheter ablation to treat these heart rhythm problems and I also implant pacemakers, complex pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators.
