About me

I graduated in 2004 from the University of Birmingham Medical School with dual degrees in Medical Science and Medicine.

After House Officer training I taught anatomy at Birmingham Medical School before settling in Hampshire for my Surgical and Orthopaedic training rotations in the Wessex Region. I completed my Orthopaedic Training in 2017 with an MSc in Trauma Surgery and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, FRCS (Tr&Orth).

In addition, I have undertaken prestigious specialist overseas fellowship training in Cambodia, Australia and the USA.
- The Kadoorie Senior Trauma Fellowship, Children’s Surgical Centre Cambodia
- The Sydney & St Luke’s Hand Fellowship, Sydney Hospital – Hand & Microsurgery
- The Australian Orthopaedic Association Upper Limb Fellowship, Sydney
- Travelling Fellowship – California, USA – Neil Jones, David Slutsky and Jeffrey Yao

In March 2019 I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with a specialist practice in hand and upper limb surgery in both Winchester and Basingstoke.

I am interested in all aspects of hand and upper limb surgery, with particular interests in Dupuytren’s disease, trauma, reconstruction and deformity correction. I am an active member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), it is important to me to keep up to date with the latest technologies and procedures for the benefit of my patients.
