About me
Consultant Thoracic and Robotic Surgeon
As a thoracic (chest) surgeon I have devoted my clinical practice to diagnosing and treating patients with lung cancer, thymic malignancies, pulmonary metastases, mesothelioma, and all other benign and malignant surgical pathologies of the chest cavity.
Having worked for a number of years at University College London hospitals UCLH as a consultant Thoracic Surgeon and lead for robotic thoracic surgery I have now accepted a position as thoracic surgeon at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic of London to progress my career.
Over the years I have developed an expertise in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgical approaches, including Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) and Robotic Thoracic Surgery, and I am fully trained and qualified to utilize the Da Vinci Robotic System in thoracic surgical patients.
In addition, I have developed an interest in chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum) and their management. I have a regular pectus clinic dedicated to chest wall deformities and other rib abnormalities including rib injury and fracture, chronic chest wall pain, slipping rib syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome.
Another area of clinical interest is surgery for hyperhidrosis ( excessive sweating) with keyhole thoracoscopic approach (ETS).
