About me
I am a consultant paediatric surgeon working at University Hospital of Wales (UHW), Cardiff. I have a specialist interest in the general surgery of childhood, upper gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, and minimally invasive surgery. I qualified from Imperial College London in 2005 with honours and undertook specialist paediatric surgical training in the Northwest of England. I have completed an additional 18 months fellowship in Upper GI and laparosocpic surgery. I am currently the lead for paediatric major trauma at University Hospital Wales (UHW) Cardiff, additionally I am the training programme director for paediatric surgery in South Wales.
