About me
I'm a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, my main NHS base is in Salisbury, I see private patients here and also in Winchester and Devizes.
I regularly diagnose with and undertake surgery for a wide range of Gynaecological conditions in my practice including:
- Irregular bleeding, including after the menopause
- Prolapse
- Cervix problems and cervical precancer
- Endometriosis and conditions causing pelvic pain
- Fibroids
- Ovarian cysts, and women with ovarian cancer in the family
- Gynae cancers
- Issues around the menopause and with HRT, especially bleeding on HRT
- Issues regarding irregular cycles such as polycystic ovaries causing fertility problems
In my practice I like to give quality, informed care individualised to your condition and needs, and to empower you to chose the treatment option that is best for you.
Aside from Clinical practice I have had medical management and leadership roles, particularly around quality assurance of the Cervical Screening Service and previously being the Clinical Lead for Gynaecology in my department.
