About me

I am a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist working in Chichester and Southampton. I have an interest in all forms of cardiology and have specialised training in the management of abnormal heart rhythms, complex cardiac pacemakers and cardiac MRI.

Having completed my general cardiology training in a number of hospitals around Hampshire and Dorset I underwent dedicated electrophysiology and complex device fellowships initially at Southampton and Bournemouth, and subsequently a further post-training fellowship at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. I am internationally accredited in both electrophysiology and cardiac devices via the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners.

My main NHS practice is at St Richards Hospital in Chichester and I am also an honorary consultant at University Hospital Southampton where I perform my electrophysiology procedures.

I have a broad research interest and have recently completed my MD with King's College London, and published on a wide variety of topics including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, cardiac physiology and cardiac MRI. I currently have 27 peer-reviewed publications including a number as first author and have been invited to give presentations at international conferences.
