About me

Mr. Subramanian was appointed as an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn in January 2017.

Mr. Subramanian joined BMI Sandringham Hospital in 2018.

Mr. Subramanian qualified from the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai in 1996. He completed his Master of Surgery in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the same Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2001.

He did his Trauma & Orthopaedic Registrar level training in Peterborough & Stamford Hospital.
He passed his F.R.C.S. in Trauma & Orthopaedic exams in 2013.

Mr. Subramanian has completed three Fellowships.
1. The first Fellowship was a Trauma B.O.A. Transitional Fellowship based at Cardiff University Hospital in 2014.

2. The second Fellowship was a lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at University Hospital, Leicester in 2015 – 2016.

3. The third Fellowship was Joint Reconstruction Fellowship training at the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London.

He gained experience in all aspects of hip and knee surgery under the supervision of
Mr. Carrington and Mr. Miles. As part of the Stanmore rotation, he did Fellowship training in St. Albans Hospital as well under the supervision of Mr. Neil Davis, Consultant Knee Surgeon.

Mr. Subramanian specialises in hip and knee replacements, Partial Knee replacements, knee revision surgery and knee soft tissue ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair, meniscectomy and also cartilage procedures.

He is also involved in teaching Junior Doctors and Orthopaedic trainee Surgeons at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn.

Areas of interest
