About me

I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trustl. I have international experience in this field and have completed structured training in both obstetrics and gynaecology in the well sought after London Deanery training programme. I subsequently developed special skills Ambulatory Gynaecology problems as a fellow at St George's Hospital, Tooting. I have special interest in hysteroscopy (removal of fibroids and polyps and endometrial ablation for treatment of heavy periods), colposcopy and LLETZ for abnormal smears, gynaecological ultrasound, management of period problems both medically and surgically, management of pelvic pain and laparoscopy for removal of ovarian cysts. I also have experience in managing postmenopausal bleeding and HRT. I am also actively involved in risk management and clinical governance and have presented at national and International Conferences.

Areas of interest

I specialise in general gynaecology and deal with following conditions
Heavy menstrual bleeding; pelvic pain; irregular periods; postmenopausal bleeding and HRT, abnormal cervical smears, ovarian cysts, management of fibroids, perimenopausal or postmenopausal symptoms, HRT and premenstrual syndrome.
I undertake laparoscopy surgery for removal of ovarian cysts or tubes or both, diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy including removal of fibroids and polyps; medical and surgical treatment for heavy periods, colposcopy, LLETZ treatment for abnormal smears, endometrial ablation, coil insertion and replacement, vulvoscopy, removal of vulval or vaginal cysts
