About me
I am a Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist employed at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2017. I trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London and specialise in vascular and non-vascular intervention.
Areas of interest
Diagnostic imaging including
Ultrasound abdomen/renal tract/lumps & bumps/thyroids and neck (including fine needle aspiration)/venous Doppler/groins/hernias; all body CT including oncology, vascular, sinuses, brain (not CT colonography or specialist head & neck); MRI including vascular, venography, spine, MRCP; fluoroscopy including most fluoroscopic studies including cystograms, barium swallows, urethrogram etc.
Intervention including
Arterial and venous angioplasty and stenting; IVC filter placement/removal; vascular
access (PICC insertion, tunnelled lines, implantable port insertion and removal), embolisation (uterine fibroids, varicocele, prostate etc.)
Non-vascular: Abdominal and thoracic drains; tunnelled drains (Pleurx); biliary drainage and stenting; nephrostomy insertion; anterograde ureteric stenting; oesophageal stenting; gastrostomy insertion; exchange of gastrostomy or PEG-jej tubes; soft tissue and bone biopsy.
