About me
I have completed my basic surgical training in Yorkshire. During that time, I completed a research degree / Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Hull. I undertook my higher surgical training in Severn Deanery working in different hospitals including Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester.
I developed a specialist interest in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery in both benign and malignant colorectal surgery. After finishing my surgical training, I did a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic colorectal surgery and advanced pelvic malignancies in The John Goligher Unit in St James’ Hospital in Leeds.
My major interests include colorectal surgery, colonoscopy and hernias. I have particular expertise in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, colonoscopy and benign anorectal conditions.
