About me
I graduated from Assam University, India. My postgraduate training in Gastroenterology was in Southwest London including significant time spent in London teaching Hospitals, St Georges Hospital and Kings College Hospital. During my training I did research in liver diseases and have been awarded MD from St Georges University of London. My sub specialty interests include Liver diseases including Fatty liver, MASLD, viral/alcohol/immune related liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, dyspepsia, functional GI disorders, GORD, rectal bleeding, chronic diarrhoea.
I care for a large number of patients with various GI disorders including functional GI problems such Irritable Bowel Syndrome and functional dyspepsia, liver disease, hepatitis and fatty liver. I perform endoscopies including polyp removal and various therapeutic procedures.
I am joint advisory group (JAG) accredited endoscopist for upper and lower GI endoscopies.
