About me
Mr Sultan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, working at the Beaumont Hospital and the Oaklands Hospital, Manchester. He specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including knee arthroplasty (partial and total knee replacements) and soft tissue knee surgery (sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, knee pain, kneecap / patella instability).
He completed his specialist surgical training in the North-West of England, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr & Orth) and the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2016. He undertook sub-specialist knee fellowships in Harrogate and Lyon / France with world-renowned knee surgeons, developing a special interest in partial knee replacement surgery, patella instability surgery, knee ligament reconstruction and cartilage regeneration procedures. After 4 years as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Royal Bolton Hospital, he was selected to lead the acute soft tissue knee injuries service at Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary, Trafford General Hospital).
