About me
Mr Shwetal Dighe is a Consultant Upper GI and Thyroid Surgeon at Darent Valley Hospital. He initially trained in India (Mumbai) and later in the London region to broaden his surgical experience.
Mr S Dighe was appointed at Darent Valley hospital as an Upper GI surgeon in 2015 and was responsible for setting up a new service in the hospital offering complex gall bladder surgery including laparoscopic bile duct exploration, anti-reflux surgery and hiatal hernia repair.
He is currently the clinical lead for Laparoscopic UGI surgery and pancreatitis.
Mr Dighe has spent 2 years in research and has a MD degree form the London University. He is also the surgical audit lead in the hospital and pursues his academic interests by presenting in National conferences.
