About me

Mr McCoubrey began his medical training at the University of St Andrews, gaining a BSc in Medical Science and completed his clinical training, qualifying from Manchester University, in 2000.
He underwent Specialist Training in Plastic Surgery at the Oxford Deanery and was awarded his CCT in 2014, entering the Specialist Register.
In his final year of training Mr McCoubrey spent a year of Fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia. This was a specialised Microsurgical and Cosmetic Fellowship, covering all aspects of Plastic surgical reconstruction.
He was appointed as a substantive NHS Plastic Surgeon at Salisbury Foundation Trust and also works at University Hospital Southampton at the Major Trauma Centre due to his main interest in Limb reconstruction.
Mr McCoubrey has a busy practice in elective and trauma Hand surgery, Limb reconstruction and microsurgery. He also has expertise in skin cancer surgery, breast reconstruction and scar revision.
