About me
Dr Sivanie Sewell graduated from The University of Nottingham Medical School in 2006. After postgraduate training in general medicine and obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians UK, she completed specialist training in dermatology and she became a Consultant Dermatologist. Her private practice has been based in London and Surrey and she previously worked in Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust where she was actively involved in teaching and training GPs and future Dermatologists and played a key role in multiple global research trials in dermatology. Dr Sewell continues to teach doctors and other healthcare professionals and participates in national and international conferences and has won several awards. Her practice is now based in Surrey.
Dr Sewell has specialist expertise looking after adults with all skin conditions using the most effective, scientifically proven treatments in her practice. She is also an expert skin cancer specialist and a highly skilled skin surgeon, operating on cancerous and non-cancerous skin lesions, using techniques to minimise scarring.
She also offers a mole check / skin check for skin cancer service. *Face-to-face appointments only for this service. Please do not wear makeup or nail varnish to this appointment.*
Dr Sewell fully understands how distressing skin conditions are and involves patients in their management plan. She ensures that every patient leaves their consultation with a clear understanding of what their problem is and their treatment plan.
