About me
Dr Punjabi is registered fully with the GMC on the specialist register and is a Lead Consultant Dermatologist at London North West Healthcare (Northwick Park , Central Middlesex and Ealing Hospitals NHS Trust) Her dermatological career spans from covering post graduate studies in Dermatology in India to training and research in skin cancer (Basal Cell carcinoma) in the UK.
She specialises in all aspects of General dermatological disease with a particular interest in Asian skin and contact dermatitis.
Previous experience:
Having been attached to a premier institute at Imperial CollegeHealth Care NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital, has allowed her to strengthen her expertise in Dermatology including skin cancer, acne, acne scarring, pigmentation, and other dermatological problems.
She has been a very keen organiser of General Practice Skin Clubs and is involved regularly in teaching primary care both as lectures and supporting community clinics over the years.
Her special interest is in allergies of the skin as she leads the patch testing in her hospital for skin allergies.
She also chairs the skin cancer MDT meetings at her hospital.
She also has a good understanding and background knowledge in Asian skin and skin of colour covering acne, acne scars, pigmentation issues, and mole and tag removals safely.
