About me

Mr Abu-Ghazza graduated from the Moscow Medical Academy I.M. Secheov First Moscow State Medical University in June 1997 and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in November 2005. He undertook postgraduate training at the Imperial Healthcare Trust. He has many research publications and is a member of the RCOG menstrual disorder study group. Mr Abu-Ghazza has sixteen years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Royal Surrey County Hospital. His special areas of interest include menstrual disorders, cervical, uterine and ovarian diseases and early pregnancy complications.
Mr Abu-Ghazza was awarded a master degree in gynaecological minimal access surgery from University of Surrey. He has particular interest in the modern surgical techniques for treatment of different gynaecological conditions.
Given his extensive training and interest in ultrasound he offers a high quality pelvic ultrasound using the most advance ultrasound machines.

Areas of interest

Menstrual disorder: hormonal changes/menopause/endometriosis/fibroid/polyps/heavy or painful periods/ pelvic pain/fertility/PCOS.
Colposcopy is a specialised clinic for investigating abnormal vaginal bleeding/discharges after intercourse or abnormal cervical smear or in cases of positive for high risk HPV.
Urogynaecology: prolapse and urinary incontinence and or urgencies.
Ultrasound: high quality internal ultrasound for difficulty conceiving/fertility/ miscarriages/ectopic pregnancy/ovarian cysts (dermoid, chocolate, complex) pelvic pain and painful intercourse.
Procedures: keyhole/laparoscopic access surgery for endometriosis; ovarian cysts or hysterectomy. Hysteroscopy/resection of polyps/fibroids or Mirena coil; endometrial ablations. Myomectomy (removal of fibroids), pelvic floor prolapse/ urinary incontinence surgery (slings surgery); vaginal hysterectomy and bladder repair/(sacrospinous fixation. Cauterization /cryothearpy of cervical ectropion/LLETZ (High grade CIN).
