About me

Mark Edmondson is a Hip and Knee surgeon. Specialising in hip and knee replacement as well as revision (redo) hip surgery and ‘key hole’ knee surgery.

His NHS practice is at Brighton and Sussex university hospitals trust. Where he performs major trauma surgery as well as being part of the Complex Arthroplasty Unit, dealing with complex joint replacement problems. He is the clinical lead for the fracture neck of femur surgery unit at Princess Royal Hospital.

He is an active sportsman who only recently stopped playing competitive rugby. He’s a keen martial artist having studied judo, kung fu and muay Thai from childhood. He is a father of three children.
