About me
Mr Tushar Agarwal qualified from India’s University of Delhi in 1991. His initial postgraduate training in surgery was from the University of Delhi. After doing a period of senior residency in New Delhi, he completed his Higher Surgical Training from the North West Thames Surgical Rotation. Mr Agarwal subsequently did a one year fellowship in Colorectal Surgery from University College Hospital and Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital. He has done a period of Observership at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
He is currently working in the NHS as a Consultant Surgeon at St Marks Hospital and is the lead for colorectal cancers.
He specialises in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, Colorectal Cancers, Proctology (surgery for haemorrhoids, anal fissures and anal fistulae) and Endoscopy ( both upper and lower GI). He also carries out General Surgical procedures such as hernia repairs.
Mr Agarwal is committed to undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.
