About me
Mr. Haider Jan is a dedicated, experienced consultant Gynaecologist. He holds the role as the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and gynaecology and the lead for the BSGE accredited Endometriosis centre at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. He is also an honorary consultant at Kings Fertility.
His main focus is on cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatments that put patients’ comfort and safety first. Mr. Jan takes a holistic approach, ensuring you receive the highest quality care tailored to your unique needs.
As a leading minimally invasive surgeon, he also has particular expertise in pelvic pain, Endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids, heavy or abnormal bleeding, prolapse, menopause and HRT, or severe premenstrual tension
He specialises in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions that may lead to recurrent miscarriages and poor fertility outcomes. These include hysteroscopy and treatment of fibroids, uterine septum, treatment of Ashermans, and surgery for the fallopian tube.
Mr. Jan has won multiple national and international prizes for his scientific presentations in minimally invasive (Laparoscopic) gynaecology and gynaecological ultrasound, including 3D/4D. As an award-winning researcher in medicine, he has published numerous papers in scientific peer-reviewed journals, including randomised controlled trials and one book chapter.
As an accredited teacher and instructor, Mr. Jan works closely with numerous faculties, including the Royal College of Surgeons, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit, to help train other medical professionals in gynaecological surgery and emergency obstetrics.
