This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Prof Andrew Luff is one of the most experienced Ophthalmic Surgeons in the country having completed over 30,000 Cataract procedures and 15,000 vitrectomy procedures. He graduated from Oxford University and Guy's Hospital Medical School and went on to train as a General Surgeon, before specialising in Ophthalmology. Andy was selected for a prestigious Fellowship at the highly regarded Moorfields Eye Hospital, which preceded his appointment as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Southampton Eye Unit in 1995.
Andy was among the first pioneers of intravitreal injection, which is now common treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration. He popularised the technique of vitrectomy under local anaesthesia and has unique expertise in vitrectomy surgery combined with the insertion of multifocal implant lenses.
Andy is an innovator in medical and surgical treatments. He has considerable experience in refractive lens exchange using accommodating and multifocal implants and is a recognised lecturer for Ophthalmic Surgical Trainees, General Practitioners and Optometrists.
