About me
I am married and have two daughters. My hobbies include astronomy and ancient history. Whenever I get an opportunity I like to travel to places with ancient monumental sites.
I started my training in India followed by further training in Southampton in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. I completed my training through the Wessex Deanery and then did a further Masters degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy through the University of Surrey. I completed a European University Diploma in Advanced Endoscopy from the University of Auvergne in Clermont Ferrand, France.
I have great interest in teaching and innovation and was quite keen to work in a tertiary level hospital like Southampton with its affiliations to the University of Southampton. I have lived in Southampton for many years and the city has attracted me with its ancient history and proximity to the sea and the New Forest.
Areas of interest
I specialise and undertake advanced endoscopic procedures treating benign conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, adhesions, heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain etc. I undertake gynaecological ultrasound and aim to provide a one stop consultation. Working in close liaison with my reproductive medicine colleagues, I treat patient who need reproductive surgical procedures.
