About me
Mrs Maya Harris is a member of Birmingham Prostate clinic, which is a centre of urological excellence in West Midlands. She is available for face-to-face and remote consultations.
She has broad academic and practical experience in all aspects of urology. Her particular interests lie in bladder and prostate diseases and kidney stones, in particular, benign prostatic enlargement, recurrent urinary tract infections and prostatitis, and bladder dysfunction due to neurological conditions.
She performs the minimally-invasive prostate treatments, such as green light laser prostatectomy, Rezum and Urolift. She has recently introduced a revolutionary robotic technique of Aquablation for treatment of BPH.
She is also very experienced in ureteroscopy for treatment of kidney stones and lesions.
Many patients, both male and female, have felt comfortable discussing with her problems of a most intimate nature. She is one of very few fully qualified urologists who are female, in private practice.
