Matthew is a core member of the skin cancer Multidisciplinary meetings in Oxford and Swindon as well as the Head and Neck cancer and Skull base cancer Multidisciplinary meetings in Oxford. He is a Member of the Thames Valley Skin Cancer Specialist Group. He is the lead for clinical governance and safety for Head and Neck cancer in Oxford.
Matthew is registered with the GMC and is on the specialist register for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO).
Matthew aims to provide care of the highest quality. He maintains this quality by regular audit of his outcomes as well as visiting, presenting and undertaking research with other surgeons both nationally and internationally. He regularly publishes his outcomes and techniques as a means of informing others of his work and providing transparency of his outcomes for his patients. Matthew doesn’t work as an isolated surgeon but in all aspects of his practice he works in teams to provide patients with specialists that provide overlapping skills to meet all his patients needs.
