About me
Nabeel Malik is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon.
He has lived in London where he attended St Paul�s School and university at The Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School, University of London.
He graduated as a doctor in 1992 and is recognised in the Specialist Register, with the General Medical Council, as an Ophthalmic Surgeon.
He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also a fellwo of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Nabeel completed his Basic Surgical Training in Ophthalmology at The Western Eye Hospital in London and the Southampton Eye Unit.
Having gained the FRCOphth, he embarked on a 2 year period of further specialisation in Medicine as a Physician at St George�s Hospital and the Atkinson Morley Hospitals in London, specialising in Neurology, Neuro- Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, Diabetes and Cardiology.
Having completed his Higher Specialist Ophthalmic Surgical training in London, Nabeel undertook further super specialisation in Inflammatory Eye Disease, HIV and Diabetic Eye disease, as a Fellow in Medical Retina and Uveitis at The Chelsea and Westminster and The Western Eye Hospitals.
Nabeel also super specialised in Oculoplastic & Adnexal surgery, undertaking 2 years of Fellowships.
His first Fellowship was based at the Cranio Orbito Palperbral Surgical Unit at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and at The Western Eye Hospital.
His second Oculoplastic & Adnexal surgical Fellowship was at the world famous Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Nabeel currently practices as a Consultant at The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London. His areas of expertise lie in Cataract surgery, Facial Plastic surgery including Tumour and Reconstructive surgery, Eyelid and Forehead surgery, including aesthetic surgery and Lacrimal surgery for watery eyes.
He also undertakes minor plastic surgery procedures such as the removal of moles & skin tags and eyelid lesions.
His Medical Ophthalmic expertise lies in Diabetic and Inflammatory eye disease, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Blepharospasm. and Thyroid Eye Disease.
Nabeel undertakes non surgical facial rejuvenation including the use of Fillers and Botox.
