About me

I trained at Bristol Medical School, qualifying as a doctor in 1998. I undertook specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery on the highly regarded Nottingham programme and during this time developed a special interest in the shoulder and elbow.

I completed the United States Medical License Examinations and was subsequently selected to undertake a year of highly specialised fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Mayo Clinic in the USA. This gave me a unique opportunity to learn directly from the world's leading surgeons in their field. On my return from the USA, I undertook a second shoulder and elbow fellowship in Sheffield.

In 2012 I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, a large tertiary referral teaching hospital and regional major trauma centre.
