About me
It is my privilege to work as a Consultant Urologist at The Royal Marsden Hospital managing all aspects of Urologic disease with a focus on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of cancer. I have an international reputation in the management of bladder cancer with a research focus on bladder preservation strategies as well as urinary tract reconstruction.
My practice at The Lister Hospital in Chelsea is predominantly diagnostic urology and the management of benign urologic disease.
I enjoy the balance I have achieved at these two hospitals having maintained a busy practice at both sites for over 15 years. I understand the importance of excellent communication, clinical acumen and surgical skill and strive to deliver on all fronts for my patients.
Areas of interest
I have a particular interest in diagnostic urology, bladder function and urinary tract cancers. I use the latest techniques to arrive at a diagnosis and institute effective treatment. This includes:
- MRI guided prostate biopsy
- Blue light and narrow band cystoscopy
- Bladder preservation strategies in Bladder cancer
- Robotic surgery of the bladder and prostate along with urinary tract reconstruction
- Bladder reconstruction including neo bladder formation and rectal diversion
