About me
Dr Maghsoudi studied as an undergraduate at the Copenhagen University Medical School attached to the National University Hospital, qualifying in 1997. Radiology training was followed by a subspecialty Breast imaging appointment at the National University Hospital. He was subsequently head-hunted and encouraged to move to the UK where he joined as a Substantive Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London with Breast screening at Queen Mary's Hospital. During his initial appointment here in the UK at QEH as Lead Consultant Breast Radiologist, he was pivotal in the development of the symptomatic breast service. He also introduced as standard, the practice of routine assessment of the axilla for nodes by ultrasound and guided sampling in 2005. He worked as a Senior Consultant Breast Radiologist at King's College Hospital, PRUH site from 2008-2021, having now moved over to Queen Mary's Hospital.
The majority of his now at various private hospitals and clinics, including at 108 Harley Street, OneWelbeck, The Blackheath Hospital, Chelsfield Park Hospital, Sloane Hospital, LycaHealth and the Spire Alexandra Hospital.
He has read more than 60,000 mammograms, performed more than 20,000 Breast ultrasounds and more than 10,000 image guided breast FNAs and biopsies with no complications.
