About me
Mr Jafri is a Consultant in Lower Limb (Hip & Knee) Replacement and Trauma with a specialist interest in revision surgery. He also has an interest in knee arthroscopy.
His undergraduate education was at the Universities of Birmingham and Newcastle and he completed both his basic and higher surgical training in the North of England.
Following his qualification as a Consultant he spent one year in Auckland, New Zealand doing the prestigious Revision Arthroplasty and Trauma Fellowship, where he gained further experience in performing complex joint replacements and reconstruction of failing hip and knee replacements.
Mr Jafri maintains an active interest in education, training and research.He is author and contributor to a number of papers that have been published worldwide and also continues to present his research both nationally and internationally.
Mr Jafri is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Newcastle.
