About me

Professor Rahul Kanegaonkar graduated from University College London. He undertook an Intercalated BSc in Anatomy and won both the Maurice Elton Prize in Oncology and the FMR Walshe Prize in Neurology.

He qualified as a doctor in 1995, and passed the Diploma in Laryngology and Otology, Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and the Fellowship Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons.

He completed his basic and higher surgical training in London and the South East with a spell at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He now holds NHS Consultant Posts at both the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough, and the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where he leads the specialist Balance Clinic.

Rahul holds two Professorships at Canterbury Christ Church University one in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery, the second in Medical Innovation.

Rahul has written several books, undertakes clinical research, and is the Course Director for the Masters in Otorhinolaryngology. He also examines for the European Board in Otorhinolaryngology and the Royal Colleges of Surgeons.
