About me
Mr Pembridge was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in 2004.He first qualified from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine in 1994.Following training posts in South Wales and London he held a research post for 2 years at the Cardiff Assisted Reproduction Unit. His specialist training followed on the all Wales training rotation.
Mr Pembridge holds the joint Royal College of Radiologists and Obstetricians and Gynaecologists diploma in ultrasound.
he has previously been a clinical director and is currently a clinical lead for gynaecology and runs an NHS fertility and miscarriage clinic.
He has significant experience in the management of benign gynaecological conditions including the management of pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding and irregularities, pelvic floor prolapse,vulval skin conditions, subfertility and investigation of recurrent miscarriage.
Mr Pembridge is a competent laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeon for the diagnosis and management of pelvic pain, endometriosis, polyps, heavy periods and ovarian cysts.
Areas of interest
Significant experience in the management of :
menstrual disorders (heavy , painful irregular bleeds, post menopausal bleeding) and treatment by way hysteroscopy and therapeutic hysteroscopic procedures for polyps and insertion of mirena IUS.
Management of ,fibroids Pelvic pain -endometriosis , laparoscopy and laparoscopic surgery
Genital prolapse and surgery
Vulval skin conditions and treatment - such as vulval irritation
Diagnosis and investigation of sub fertility and miscarriage.
