About me
I have been a Consultant Surgeon at Milton Keynes Hospital (MKGh) for over 15 years.I established minimally invasive Colorectal surgery at MKGH and now also perform robotic assisted colorectal cancer surgery.
My complimentary interest in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) and sustainable surgery continues to improve patient outcomes. As well as striving for clinical excellence, I have a strong research background, and obtained my MD thesis having been awarded Royal College of Surgeon's research fellowship. I have a number of national and international presentations and published several papers in peer reviewed journals.
I have a strong interest in education and training and I am currently Royal College Surgical tutor. I have membership of ASGBI and ACPGBI and am South Central regional representative for ASGBI as well as regional speciality advisor (RSPA). I am also on the Intercollegiate board of examiners and examine for both MRCS and FRCS post graduate surgical examinations.
