About me

Mr George has a practice specialising exclusively in conditions around the hip. He performs both hip replacement surgery for patients of all ages and hip preservation surgery, such as hip arthroscopy for hip conditions in younger adults. His hip replacement practice involves both primary and revision surgery using contemporary implants via tissue sparing approaches allowing for rapid rehabilitation. He set up the day surgery hip replacement programme at Guy's hospital. His NHS practice is at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals where he is the hip unit subspecialty lead having been the department Clinical Lead from 2017-2021 and Clinical Governance Lead from 2014-2017.
