With a career dedicated to the treatment of rare and complex cancers, he has established himself as a leading figure in the field of sarcoma surgery, delivering operative care grounded in evidence?based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Surgical Expertise in Sarcoma and Complex Oncologic Resections

Mr Strauss specialises in complex oncologic resections, including the management of all soft?tissue sarcomas, retroperitoneal sarcomas, and advanced trunk and abdominal wall or limb tumours requiring surgical management.

He is permanently based at The Royal Marsden Hospital, where he works within the Sarcoma and Melanoma Unit. His reputation for technical excellence makes him a sought?after surgeon for cases requiring nuanced judgement and thorough experience with the biological behaviour of sarcoma subtypes.

Leadership in National and International Guideline Development

Beyond his surgical practice, Mr Strauss is a respected contributor to the development of sarcoma management standards.
