About me
I am a consultant plastic surgeon and specialist hand surgeon, providing treatment for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, trigger finger and hand arthritis, including finger joint replacement surgery, as well as hand trauma surgery.
I also offer cosmetic surgery, mole removal and skin cancer surgery.
I am a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and hold the European Board of Hand Surgery Diploma (EBHS). I am both a tutor and an examiner for the British Hand Surgery Diploma and a member of the BSSH diploma committee.
My work as an NHS consultant involves hand trauma, elective hand surgery, skin cancer surgery and general plastic surgery, with special interests in osteoarthritis, paediatric hand surgery and secondary trauma surgery. I am clinical and educational supervisor for trainee doctors and plastic surgeons. I was appointed as an NHS Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon at the St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery in Chelmsford, which runs one of the busiest hand trauma units in the UK, in 2011.
