About me
Dr Afzal Sohaib is a London-based Consultant Cardiologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, particularly atrial fibrillation (AF) and supraventricular tachycardia (SVT).
He sees patients with symptoms such as palpitations, irregular heartbeat, blackouts, dizziness, or chest discomfort, and offers a full range of investigations and treatments, from heart rhythm monitoring to advanced ablation procedures.
Dr Sohaib performs AF ablation, SVT ablation, and implants pacemakers and defibrillators (ICDs) for patients with slow or irregular heart rhythms. He trained at Imperial College London, Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, and Harefield Hospitals, and holds a PhD in cardiology research. He regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals, speaks at global cardiology conferences, and is the author of �Decoding Cardiac Electrophysiology�, a clinical guide to heart rhythm disorders.
