About me

Dr Pandora Wright is an experienced consultant in geriatric and general medicine with a strong focus on holistic, person-centred care for older adults with complex health needs. Her clinical expertise includes the management of frailty, cognitive impairment, dementia, multimorbidity, falls, and functional decline, with an emphasis on improving quality of life and supporting independence wherever possible.
She practises at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, primarily at Charing Cross Hospital, and has developed particular expertise in community geriatrics. Dr Wright regularly visits patients in their own homes and undertakes specialist care-home reviews, enabling her to gain a detailed understanding of each patient's living environment, daily challenges, and personal priorities. This approach allows her to create highly individualised care plans tailored to the needs and goals of both patients and their families.
Her work includes comprehensive geriatric assessments, advanced care planning, and capacity assessments relating to care needs and place of care decisions. She is known for her calm, compassionate, and professional approach, and works closely with GPs, therapists, specialist nurses, social care teams, and hospital specialists to deliver coordinated and integrated care across both hospital and community settings.
Dr Wright graduated MBBS with Merit in Clinical Pharmacology from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and also holds a First-Class Honours degree in the History of Medicine from University College London. She completed her specialist training across several major London teaching hospitals and has served as a Consultant Geriatrician at Charing Cross Hospital since 2016.
