About me
Hello and welcome to my profile. Thank you for your interest.
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with nearly 20 years of orthopaedic experience across my training and practice. I specialise in assessing hip and knee conditions, performing hip and knee replacements, performing arthroscopic surgery to the knee and most importantly giving advice to patients and helping them maintain their quality of life or allowing them to cary on the activities they love.
Most of the time our bodies heal naturally. Sometimes we need surgery and sometimes we need time, good physiotherapy and the reassurance that nothing serious is wrong.
My medical education began at Imperial College School of Medicine in London, one of the UK's leading medical institutions, where I developed a solid foundation in orthopaedics. Following my general training, I completed two internationally recognised fellowships in hip and knee surgery, further honing my expertise in these areas. I am currently a practising consultant at Northwick Park Hospital and Central Middlesex Hospital in London.
In my clinical practice, I focus primarily on hip and knee replacements, including complex cases of primary lower limb arthroplasty. I also perform a range of arthroscopic procedures, such as meniscal debridement and repairs, as well as managing various lower limb trauma cases.
My approach to patient care is compassionate and individualised, ensuring that each patient receives the education and information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment. Whether through surgery or conservative management, I believe in offering the best possible care tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
I am a registered member of the General Medical Council GMC in good standing, having been qualified for almost two decades without any investigations or issues.
As part of my commitment to advancing the field of orthopaedics, I also serve as a lecturer in orthopaedics at Brunel Medical School and act as a clinical and educational supervisor at my NHS Trust, where I train the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
My practice is underpinned by a commitment to providing the highest standards of care. I prioritise patient education and open communication, ensuring that every patient understands the options available to them. Whether recommending surgery or alternative treatments, I work collaboratively with my patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
