About me
Mark Cynk is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
Mark was born in the Midlands of Polish parentage, and completed his undergraduate training at Guy's Hospital in London. His urology training was on the South Thames Training programme, and included a clinical attachment in Miami, USA. He has over 20 years of consultant experience, and his clinical practice includes all aspects of general urology, with special interests in complex endourology, laparoscopic and robotic kidney surgery, stones, and laser surgery. He is a pioneer of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) in the UK, and has trained and mentored over 100 consultants in laser surgical techniques worldwide.
