About me

Mr Minas is a Lead Endometriosis Surgeon and one of the highest volume surgeons in the UK for complex laparoscopic surgery and deeply infiltrating endometriosis. He has an excellent and well-documented outcome and safety record.

He is Director of the BSGE-accredited Endometriosis Centre at the Runnymede hospital in the private sector at Surrey, where he leads a multi-disciplinary team of specialists with several years experience in managing severe endometriosis. He is Lead Endometriosis Surgeon at his NHS base, the Centre for Endometriosis and Minimally Invasive Gynaecology (CEMIG) at St Peter's Hospital in Surrey, one of the largest Endometriosis Centres in the United Kingdom, where he has introduced a robotic surgical service for complex endometriosis.

He has received a number of national and international awards and scholarships for his academic work. He has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and has delivered over 100�presentations in national and international conferences. He regularly lectures at national and international meetings and training courses. He has been invited by UK-based Universities, including King's College London and Brunel Universities, to deliver lectures to medical students and raise awareness on Endometriosis.

He is one of the first Gynaecological Surgeons in the UK to complete the prestigious training programme Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for the Excision of Benign Disease, a training module in excisional endometriosis surgery by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He has received training in Neuropelveology by Professor Marc Possover at his International Centre of Excellence for Neuropelveology in Zurich.

He has served as College Tutor for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists at Ashford & St. Peter's NHS Hospitals, where he was awarded for his contribution to the training and development of young �gynaecologists. He regularly supervises and teaches Fellows in Endometriosis surgery, thus actively shaping the new generation of Endometriosis Specialists.
