Dr Koh was awarded National Health Service Clinical Excellence Awards in 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2012.
He sees all general cardiology patients, including patients with chest pain / angina,
palpitations / arrhythmia, breathlessness, heart murmur, hypertension and high cholesterol.
Dr Koh is a recognised expert in coronary interventional procedures including angiography and angioplasty and stent insertion (especially transradial coronary interventional procedures).
Dr Koh is Consultant-in-Charge of the Transoesophageal echocardiography Service at Barts and The London NHS Trust - London Chest Hospital.
Dr Koh has full Accreditation in Transthoracic Echocardiography and Transoesophageal Echocardiography from both British Society of Echocardiography and European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (formerly European Society of Echocardiography).
Dr Koh is a Fellow of American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr Koh has a special interest in heart valve disease and is a member of the British Heart Valve Society and European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Valvular Heart Disease. He undertakes Heart Valve Multidisciplinary meetings regularly.

He is actively involved in training in other cardiologists, general practitioners and specialist nurse practitioners. He is training supervisor for Diploma in Cardiology.
Dr Koh is chapter author in the Oxford Handbook of Cardiology. His contribution to the cardiology scientific literature covers a wide range of disciplines including coronary artery disease, coronary intervention, cardiac imaging (especially transoesophageal echocardiography including 3D TOE) and cardiac arrhythmias.
