About me
After graduating from medical school in Poland in 2005, Mrs Studnicka-Perkin progressed through Core Surgical and Specialist Training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Mersey Deanery achieving Klennerman's golden medal for outstanding achievements during the process.
After completing the final Fellowship exams of the Royal College of Surgeons and European Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, she finished additional degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine qualifying her to work with the Olympic Teams.
Mrs Studnicka-Perkin completed the world-renowned specialist Upper Limb Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital in 2023 and is currently practicing as a substantive Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery Consultant in Ysbyty Gwynedd and Llandudno General Hospital.
Her surgical practice includes treating general orthopaedic trauma cases including upper and lower limb injuries and she has a special interest in hand and wrist cases.
In addition, she engages with medico-legal aspect of work by providing expert witness reports instructed by solicitors specialising in personal injuries.
Currently apart from enjoying spending time with her young family, Mrs Studnicka-Perkin enjoys exploring the beauty of North Wales. Her favourite sports include mountain biking, trail running, skiing and strength training.
Areas of interest
Mrs Studnicka-Perkin Is offering treatment for common conditions affecting hand and wrist including carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, trigger finger and management of ganglions and cysts. She also offers a full spectrum of treatments for osteoarthritis from joint injections, denervations to joint replacements or fusions.
Mrs Studnicka-Perkin has a particular interest in Sport and Exercise medicine and offers surgical treatment for the variety of sport injuries and tendinopathies.
