During his training in London, he gained experience in complex Shoulder & Elbow surgery while in the Shoulder and Elbow Unit at the RNOH, London. He also worked in the Peripheral Nerve Injuries unit gaining great experience in nerve injuries and their management.

He developed major trauma experience during his training at the Royal London Hospital a Level 1 Major Trauma centre.

After completing his training he undertook two prestigious Post CCT Fellowships in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery.

One year was spent in Brisbane, Australia working with Professor Mark Ross and 4 other Upper Limb surgeons, improving his skill in Trauma and Elective Shoulder & Elbow Surgery.

The second year was spent at the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit under the mentorship of Professor Peter Brownson (Ex-President of the British Elbow & Shoulder Society) and 4 excellent Shoulder & Elbow surgeons perfecting his skills in Elective Shoulder & Elbow Surgery.

His training and both of these Fellowships gave invaluable experience in sports injuries around the shoulder and elbow, rotator cuff repairs, management of frozen shoulder, calcific tendonitis, shoulder and elbow replacements and management of all shoulder and elbow trauma such as distal biceps tendon repairs and reconstruction, arthroscopic ACJ repairs and reconstructions etc
