About me

Personal profile
My undergraduate training was in Bristol University. After undertaking basic surgical training in Manchester I pursued my colorectal surgical interests with a two and a half year period of research at UCL towards my doctorate. I then underwent a higher surgical training in General and Colorectal Surgery in London and South East England.

Throughout this period I gained significant experience in both General Surgery with specific specialist interests in the fields of Colorectal surgery. This includes colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disease. After having completed my training I then underwent a period of further formal Colorectal training at St. Marks Hospital.

After this I pursued and have continued my interests in Laparoscopic training with an industry sponsored fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Training. I have maintained the above interests with a keen interest in academia
