About me
My areas of particular specialist expertise include Endoscopy especially colonoscopy (Bowel cancer screening and removal of large colorectal polyps) and assessment and treatment of patients with late gastrointestinal effects of cancer treatments (such as bowel problems after pelvic radiotherapy) but also the range of general Gastroenterology (abdominal pain, change in bowel habit, rectal bleeding, irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia/ indigestion, inflammatory bowel disease).

Previously Clinical Lead for Endoscopy and the Cambridge Bowel Cancer Screening Centre (2007-2013 and Divisional Director for Medicine/ Division C (2013-2018).
Personal interests
Outside work I try to keep fit by running and cycling and am a keen hill walker having climbed all of the Munros (mountains over 3000 feet in Scotland).
