About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist who has been a qualified therapist for over thirty years. I work with adults and teenagers.
I specialise in aspects of mental health, especially all forms of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, PTSD and trauma. I also specialise in eating disorders including binge eating and comfort eating.

I am passionate about finding the most appropriate types of therapy for each individual I support. I also ensure my skills are updated so I have specialised in a number of different techniques such as EMDR, mindfulness, compassion focussed therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. But the most important point is to develop a relationship that is supportive and helpful.

Anxiety; generalised anxiety disorder; worry, obsessive compulsive disorder; panic disorder; social anxiety; depression; trauma; post traumatic stress disorder; self esteem issues and assertiveness.

I specialise in advanced CBT strategies which include Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Positive Psychology.
