About me

Dr Amra Rao is a chartered Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Organisational Consultant. She has been working in NHS since 1992. She has led and managed Specialist Therapy Services in NHS over 18 years. She is a trainer, supervisor and practitioner and specialises in CBT, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy and Metallisation Based Therapy. Her clinical work pays particular attention to individual needs and life circumstances to consider what approach will help the person at a given time. She works across all age groups and offers short and long-term individual, group & family therapies as well as personal development programmes.

She has been involved in developing coaching, reflective practice and leadership programmes in nationally and internationally with various Professional bodies and Business schools.
